Daily updates: 20 April 2024: Manali Atal tunnel road is open for all vehicles. 30 March 2024: The road to Atal tunnel has been shut for tourist vehicles due to safety reasons following fresh snowfall. The road is closed temporarily and will be reopened after snowfall stops. 21 March 2024: The Atal tunnel road is partially opened for tourists. Tourists are enjoying drive through snow from Solang valley to Atal tunnel. They are entering the tunnel to reach Lahaul valley which is completely white with snow. Please note that the weather has again turned cloudy in the evening and higher reaches are again receiving fresh snow. There is possibility of snow blocking the road in the night time. So, drive only after ensuring safe road conditions and follow traffic rules to avoid fatal consequences. 14 March 2024: The Manali-Atal tunnel highway is closed after snowfall. The road is being opened only for emergency vehicles as their are chances of avalanches and landslides. 19 February 2024: Road to Atal tunnel has been blocked following heavy snowfall. 31 January 2024: The road to Atal tunnel is closed temporarily after snowfall. 15 January 2024: The road to Atal Tunnel Rohtang is open. 4 December 2023: The Manali-Atal tunnel road, which was closed temporarily after snowfall, reopened for traffic.
