The weather turned favourable on Tuesday evening which brought some snow to the higher regions. Tourists were thrilled to see the snowfall, while farmers and fruit growers are happy as the rain and snow have broken a long-prevailing dry spell. Hoteliers and travel agents believe that snowfall will boost tourism in the state. According to Met office, more snowfall is expected in the next 48 hours. However, according to weather portal AccuWeather, rains and snowfall may continue in the first week of February. So, those who wish to see fresh snowfall, this is the right time to head to the hills.
