Kullu-Manali becomes the most beautiful place on earth during winter months from December to March. Covered with snow, the peaks and valleys make the area more beautiful than Europe.If you are looking an alternate option to Europe, Manali is the best option during winters. Snow, frozen waterfalls, ice, frost and cold, this is what make you feel like you are in another world. All the hotels here remain open during winters. You will get warm bedding (blanket/quilts) and even room heater (hotel will charge extra for heater usage) to make your stay cozy.
Please note, we can not guarantee whether you will be lucky enough to see snowfall or not as its totally act of Mother Nature. But you will be able to see snow-capped mountains and cold weather. There are strong chances that you will see snow. If weather comes in mood, you will get chance to take shower of snowflakes. You can see snowfall right in front of your hotel.
Be prepared to meet the extreme cold with good clothes and shoes. Road to Rohtang pass and some of the higher regions will remain close due to snow. Generally major roads remain open but heavy snowfall may block the road temporarily. Its always to have a buffer day to avoid missing your return flight/train in worse case.
If you are winter sports lover, you can enjoy/learn skiing, snowboarding, snow walking, snow shoeing, back country skiing, heli skiing, winter trekking etc.

Brief Itinerary:-
Day 1: Delhi – Manali (Overnight)
Day 2: Manali Arrival, Hotel check-in, local sightseeing
Day 3: Snow Point visit (subject to availability of snow/opening of road). No movement in case of snowfall at hotel.
Day 4: Kullu-Manaikaran or Kullu – Naggar visit (If road is open)
Day 5: Manali – Delhi (Overnight).

If you don’t want to travel in Volvo, or you timing doesn’t match with boarding time, you can ask us to book a private taxi for you instead.
Day 2: Manali Local Sightseeing
Day 3: Snow Point
Please note that visiting Rohtang pass depends on opening of the road in winters. Generally snow blocks Manali-Rohtang pass road in winters which opens in May or sometime in April end. Even Kothi, Gulaba remains closed after heavy snowfall. In such condition, you would be take to the nearest point upto where the tourists would be allowed to go by administration/police.
Day 4: Kullu-Manikaran or Kullu-Naggar
OPTION: (If you don’t want to visit Manikaran valley, then you can visit Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery, Roerich Memorial, Jana water fall and Kullu in place of Kullu, Manikaran, Kasol).
Day 5: Manali-Delhi
If you are coming from South, East, West India or places far from Delhi, and if you will be taking flight or train, we prefer having a buffer day (one free day) to avoid missing your return flight or train. Chances are less but once in season heavy snowfall blocks all roads in Manali, and sometime the national highway too, which may delay your bus/taxi to Delhi and you may miss your flight/train.
