Day 4: Malana Village
A road has been built towards Malana a few years back. Still, you need to walk for 1 to 2 hours (uphill climb/moderate) to reach the village. A road is being built to the village. It may take one or two more years to connect the village with road.
The village (and villagers) follow strict traditions and rules and don’t touch outsiders until unless they get to know everything about him. While visiting Malana, be careful about going everywhere and taking photographs without permission. There are many places which are not even touched by local residents without permission from the local deity. So, you may be in trouble if you touched such sacred places. The old Malana village was gutted in fire in 2008. Now most houses are rebuilt. Jamlu Devta (Jamdagni) is the main deity of the village. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Kasol.

Tour Reviews
Amazing place, amazing people. The area, despite being rural, is full of hustle bustle. I wanted to visit Parvati valley for years as we used to read about it very frequently. The area is beautiful than what we had read. Thank you team discover kullu manali for making all arrangements of our trip. One suggestion: Keep your customers well informed about the short trek that they will have to undergo to reach Malana village. One of our friends, who is little bulky, had a tough time hiking the steep trail. We had thought that the village is well connected with the road. However, this trek was also an amazing experience.
My best trip in India so far. Kullu manali and parvati valley are extremely beautiful. Ever place here is full of heavenly scenery. The trip was well planned.
